Description:Horace Williams' Garage on High Street, Eccleshall.

This picture is taken from 'No Worry Motoring', an article by A.V. Stanford which appeared in the February 1928 edition of 'Monthly Pictorial' magazine. The article notes that H. Williams & Co. were official repairers to the Automobile Association and the Motor Union and "carries a very comprehensive stock of accessories and has up-to-date equipment for carrying out all mechanical and electrical overhauls that may be necessary, as well as being able to perform tyre vulcanizing by the Harvey Frost process." The company was an agent for Bean, Ford and Morris cars, as well as for motorcycles and cycles.
