Description:1, Beacon Road, Rolleston-on-Dove, is a 17th century thatched and timer-framed cottage with 19th century alterations. Behind it is 3, Beacon Road, a brick-built cottage dated by the inscription in raised bricks "IE 1707". Both are Grade II listed buildings. A 'lollipop lady' is waiting to escort children across the road.
