Description:This photograph of the former Staffordshire Ambulance Service Headquarters on Stone Road in Stafford was taken by Stafford photographer Tony Boydon.

The Staffordshire Ambulance Service no longer exists following a merger with West Midlands Ambulance Service during 2007. The Stone Road site closed around 2009 following relocation to a brand new facility at Tollgate Industrial Estate, Beaconside in Stafford. The site was sold around 2011 and redeveloped to become part of a new scheme known as Northfield Village. This development brought together various types of accommodation, care facilities, doctor’s surgery, pharmacy, community hub, shops and a supermarket.
