Description:The Mayor of Stafford, Alderman Miss Iris Moseley, was guest of Honour at the Dorman’s annual children’s party for around 150 children aged from five to eight years old, organised by the Sports and Welfare Club. Miss Moseley is pictured among the children during one of the highlights of the afternoon which was a Twist competition. This was judged by Miss Moseley, who awarded prizes to Suzanne Rogers and Martin Williams. At the end of the party there was a visit from Father Christmas (Jim Sullivan) who gave a present to each child.
