Description:Olive Plummer pictured outside Shugborough Hall. Olive was Cook at Shugborough from at least 1939 until 1949. She was born Olive Grundy at Glanford Brigg, Lincolnshire in 1895 and married Reginald Plummer there in 1928. Olive died in 1955.
Prior to working at Shugborough the Plummers worked at Moor Court, Farley in north Staffordshire, the home of the Bolton family, copper manufacturers at Oakamoor and Froghall. Reginald also worked at Shugborough in the 1940s as Chauffeur.
