Description:Pictured during a pause in the dancing while Mr Whiston makes the presentation to Mrs Ford.

Around 120 employees, members and guests attended the Dance Instruction Club's annual dinner dance on 5 December 1964 at the North Stafford Hotel, Stoke on Trent. After dinner a presentation of a stainless steel tea service was made by Mr D. Whiston, President, to Mr and Mrs K. Ford, the Instructors. A travel alarm clock was presented to Mr E. Billington, the M.C., and bouquets were presented to Mrs Billington, Mrs Ford and Mrs Whiston. The Modernaires provided music for the dancing.
