Description:Employees are pictured in the Works' Canteen which took on the air of a Paris nightclub for the evening during the annual Foremen and Superintendents' dinner.
Mr J.O. Trundle, Manager, presided and about 175 members of supervisory staff and their wives attended. The Canteen Manager Mr G.S. Ellis and his staff served a five course meal and later there was dancing to the Melody Makers. Mr J. Spencer designed the Parisian décor and the evening was organised by Mr G.S. Ellis and the dinner committee.
