Description:In August 1987, the Scotch Brook culvert burst causing much flooding.

This photograph taken at the junction of Stafford Street and Crown Street. The Agrocat, the County Fire and Rescue Service's amphibious vehicle, can be seen to the left.

The white building to the right is the Star Inn.
