Description:View of the High Street during a visit from the Prince of Wales, later Edward VIII, who was passing through the town on his way from Sandon to the Potteries, via Trentham Park. The Prince inspected a Guard of Honour of ex-servicemen and visited the War Memorial on Granville Square. The shop on the left is Fred Jack's chemist shop.
