Description:Draymen from Joule's Brewery on a charabanc outing to the Bridgnorth area. The photograph was taken on Cannock Chase on the way back to Stone.

Cyril Halfpenny is the driver, he was born in 1899, he served in both world wars and died 11 days before his 100th birthday.

During the return journey the drive became lost and only recognised he was in Wolverhampton by the tramlines in the road!

In the charabanc are Mr Griffith (Transport Manager) and Harold Preston and Jack Norris (foremen). The draymen are Jack Edge, Cyril Halfpenny, Jim Willshere, 'Fish' Fradley, Jimmy Jones, Oliver Ward, Percy Mansfield, Bert Oaklea and Ralph Smith.
