SUDDEN DEATH.- William Smith, a well known character in the town, and who once occupied a respectable position in life, died suddenly on Wednesday morning. Owning to his drinking propensities he had taken to sleeping in out-houses and had no fixed place of residence. On Tuesday night, he took up his quarters in a building in the Black Swan-Yard, and in the morning he was seen sitting upon the steps of Mr. Forester, shoemaker, Sheep Market, and was observed to be very unwell. assistance was at once rendered, but he died almost immediately. The deceased was known by the name of "Buttermilk."
