Description:Hednesford No. 1 Signal Box is pictured arriving at its new home in Hednesford Park. The move was due to a major upgrade and electrification project for the nearby Chase Line. It was reported in the Express and Star Newspaper that £30,000 had been raised towards restoring the 19th century signal box to its former glory and it was hoped it would be used as a classroom for educational purposes.
