Description:A group photograph of Chadsmoor A.R.P. (Air Raid Patrol) at Princess Street, Chadsmoor, Cannock.

Included in this groupm are Norman Thomas Brookes (wearing glasses, back row, first on left) and his father William Henry Brookes (front row, second from left).

This photograph was taken in the early years of the Second World War as Norman joined the King's Shropshire Light Infantry as Private 14301690 in 1942 when aged 18.
