Description:The Green Bus and Co. offices and cafe in Taylors Lane Rugeley. The Bus is a AEC Regent built in 1930. It was bought by the Green Bus Co. in November 1939 from Nottingham City Transport and finally scrapped in December 1948. Conductor Alfie Bennet is standing in front of the bus, he worked for Whieldon's (the proprietors of the Green Bus Company) for many years. Joe Fisher, driver and mechanic, is standing at the front and Horace Hancock, inspector, is facing the camera to the right.
