Description:H. Watson's tea and provisions warehouse was located at numbers 31 & 32 Ironmarket.

Watson proudly advertises Assam tea, which would have been bought as loose leaves by the Victorians as the tea bag was not invented until 1908. Assam tea was shipped from the Assam region of India.

Wording on other windows advertise 'Cadburys cocoa' and 'Frys Cocoa extract'. Cocoa was sold to Victorians as a nutritious hot drink.

The quality of the image is quite grainy as this seems to have been reproduced from a newspaper or other printed publication.
