Description:A group photograph of workers who were removing rendering from the half timbered external walls of the hall. In this photograph are: R. Furber, G. Smith, F. Parton, A. Simpson, Mr Merricks, Tom Merricks, F. Parton, A. Frost, M. Watson, F. Bennett, F. Smith, W. Sawyer and Bill Snape.

The Vernon Yonge family lived at Charnes Hall until the early 20th century. Parts of Charnes Hall date to the mid 17th century, but it was extensively remodelled in the mid to late 19th century.
