Description:George Smith with an Austin Loadstar Breakdown lorry belonging to A.R. Atkey, of Carter Street Uttoxeter. It is parked in a lane near Abbots Bromley at the opening of Blithfield reservoir by the Queen Mother. A.J.F ryer had another breakdown lorry parked nearby. They were there to be on hand should there be any problems with vehicles in the vicinity.
