Description:Matron, patients and staff at Yarnfield Isolation Hospital. A wooden building was originally built on the site as an isolation hospital shortly before 1900. It cared for people suffering from infectious diseases such as tuberculosis, well away from Stone. New, more permanent brick-built buildings, seen here to the left, were erected in 1908. The buildings were demolished in the mid 1990s and the site is now the home of Stone Dominoes Football Club.
