Description:Small cardboard box with plastic covered look hole. Inside the box is a ball of twine, the end of which is dispensed through the top of the box. The top of the box reads "Barbour's Thread Holder Patented". Chemists and pharmacists would use it to wrap parcels. From the Staffordshire County Museum collection. Formerly part of the collection of Mr. Ewart Jones of Newbridge Pharmacy, Tettenhall Road, Wolverhampton, where he worked from the late 1950s until the mid 1980s.
