Description:Looking north-west along Newcastle Road to the railway bridge with its Worthington beers advertisement. The bridge was altered in the 1930s, with a box-girder construction replacing the railings seen here, and the road widened. On the right is a horse-drawn delivery van from Stafford Laundry.

A postcard view by Stone photographer Phillip Dutton, of 63 High Street. Postmarked 8 November 1916.
