'Ship of Mine' Pageant Float, Stafford,

Description:The pageant included a class for floats representing a film shown in Stafford over the previous year. This float won second prize and was based on 'Ship of Mine'. It was entered by Mason and Marson, shoe manufacturers.

The procession through Stafford ended with a fair on the town common. A prize was awarded to the best decorated entries and along the route collections were made for Stafford General Infirmary.
