Description:Pupils and teachers from Granville Secondary Modern School, Stone pictured on a school trip, probably at Staithes, North Yorkshire.

Built on Old Road in 1935, Granville Secondary Modern School merged with Alleyne's School in 1969 to form the comprehensive Alleyne’s High School. Since the three-tier school system was introduced in Stone in 1976 the buildings have been the home of Christchurch Middle School.
