Description:Photograph taken at the marriage of Val Clark and Dorothy Brown. The wedding took place at St. Michael's Church, and the reception was at the Swan Inn. This photograph may have been taken in the grounds of Westbridge House.

In the back row, far right, (left to right) are Mrs Turner, Gladys Brown and Phyllis Brown. Charles Brown, landlord of the Swan Inn and father of the Dorothy, is standing to the right of the bride. Seated at the front, to the right of the bride are (from left to right) Ida Brown, Susan Brown (nee Yates), unknown, Charlie Brown and George Brown. George Brown later ran Waltonian Coaches, which used to be parked off Crown Street at the Boatyard.
