Date:16th of June 1938

Description:Large Black sow 'Patshull Ducar 38th' at Staffordshire Agricultural Society's County Show. This pig won First prize, and was also First and Reserve Champion at Oxford. She belonged to the Earl of Dartmouth at Patshull Hall.

The Staffordshire Agricultural Society held its first show in Stone in 1844. The annual County Show was originally held at various sites around the county.

Since 1958 the County Show has been held at the purpose-built County Show Ground at Hopton, on the outskirts of Stafford.
