Description:Charles Chetwynd Talbot, 1st Baron Talbot of Hensol (1684-1737), Lord High Chancellor 1733-1737. He was the eldest son of William Talbot, Bishop of Durham, a descendant of the 1st Earl of Shrewsbury. Member of Parliament for Tregony 1720–1722 and for the City of Durham 1722–1734. He is an ancestor of the Earls of Shrewsbury of Ingestre and Alton Towers.
