Description:Charles Cotton (1630-1687) of Beresford Hall, poet and writer. He is best known for his contributions to Izaak Walton's 'The Compleat Angler'.

Engraved by Philip Audinet and drawn by Linnel after a painting by Sir Peter Lely. published 1st May 1815.
