Description:Sir Dudley Ryder (1691-1756), Lord Chief Justice of the King's Bench 1754-1756, member of the Privy Council. he was member of Parliament for St. Germans (1733-1734) and for Tiverton (1734-1754). He is an ancestor of the Ryder family of Sandon Hall, Earls of Harrowby.
