Description:J.W. Huddleston (1815-1890), criminal lawyer and judge. He was a judge on the Oxford Circuit and attended sessions at Stafford and Worcester. He was elected as Conservative Member of Parliament for Canterbury 1865-1868 and for Norwich in 1874. With Alexander Cockburn, he formed the prosecution team in the trial of William Palmer, the Rugeley poisoner, in 1856
