Description:Lithograph print. A caricature of Dr. Richard Garnett(1835-1906), scholar, librarian and poet, by 'Spy', with caption 'Printed books' . Appeared in 'Vanity Fair' 11th April 1895.

He was born in Lichfield, and worked for most of his life at the British Museum, being Keeper of Books from 1890 until he retired in 1899.
