Description:Line engraving of Queen Elizabeth I (1533-1603) wearing regalia dress; the same dress in which she went to St. Paul's to return thanks on occasion of the victory gained over the Spanish Armada, 1585.

Curtain to the left and pillow with book and sword to the right. Crest/coat of arms top right. Footed by two-stanza poem in latin. Framed and glazed. Inscribed with poem bottom centre: "Virginis os ha bitumque geris divina v irago,/sed supra sexum dotes animumque virilem;/quod saepe altarum docuit rerun exitus ingens:/unde tibi et regni populi debere fatentur,/christiadumque cohors, odjis rumpantur ut hostes,/quorum diva tua rabies vil morte lucratia est/vas to semiramiden babylon super aethera collat,/efferat et didona suam sidonia, tellus,/gens es thren judea, camillani volsea propago,/aut constantini matrem byzantian ingens,/atque alias aliae gentis: tete anglia fortis,/ut quondem fructia est, fic clarescat alumnia./PBMQ LUDEB."Artist: Issac Oliver.
