Date:3rd of August 1903

Description:Seven open-topped tramcars filled with passengers and decorated with bunting are lined up in Borough Road, and crowds are standing watching the celebrations. The Mayor, Cllr. A.J. Roberts can be seen in the first tram. Trams ran in Burton until 1926.
