Description:The Y.M.C.A. hostel on Wolverhampton Road was formerly Camden Place, built in the early nineteenth century. The hostel opened in 1925.

In the 1960s it was used as an annex to the College of Art, but was demolished in the 1970s to make way for a road scheme.
