Description:Lithograph print. A caricature of Samuel Allsopp, 2nd Baron Hindlip (1842-1897) by 'Spy'. Appeared in 'Vanity Fair' August 1st 1885. He was a British businessman and Conservative politician in the House of Commons between 1873 and 1887. He was elected Member of Parliament for Staffordshire East between 1873 and 1880. Also in 1880, he took over the running of brewers Samuel Allsopp & Sons of Burton upon Trent. His signature is inserted at bottom left.
