Description:Portrait of James Cornwallis, 4th Earl Cornwallis, Viscount Brome, 8th Baron Cornwallis of Eye (1742-1824). He was Lord Bishop of Lichfield and Coventry, 1781 to 1824 and is buried in Lichfield Cathedral. An engraving by William Ward ARA after a painting by H.W. Pickersgill, RA. Published by Mr M. Colnaghi of 23 Cockspur Street, London on 2nd October 1826.
