Description:Carl Burton served in the Navy on H.M.S. Invincible during the Falklands War. He is pictured here on his return to Rugeley after the conflict. The Falklands War took place between 2 April and 14 June 1982 between Argentina and the United Kingdom over the disputed Falkland Islands, South Georgia and South Sandwich Islands in the southern Atlantic. 255 British and 649 Argentine soldiers, sailors, and airmen, and three civilian Falklanders killed.
