Description:This photograph taken in 1905 shows the view looking up The Brampton from Nelson Place in Newcastle-under-Lyme. To the left of the picture is the tower of St. George's Church rising up from behind the trees. In the centre of the photograph a tram has stopped to pick up passengers before it continues on its way down to the town centre.
