Description:Taken in 1955 from the tower of St. Giles' Church this photograph shows the now demolished area of Holborn in 1935 . In the foreground of the picture the back gardens of the terraced houses can be seen. To the right of the picture in the background the Holborn Papermill can be seen, this was destroyed by fire in 1967 and although largely rebuilt sadly it no longer exists today. To the left of the photograph in the background the building used by D. Shenton, Haulage Contractor, Furniture Remover and Coal Agent is visible.
