Description:Portrait of Florence Parker-Jervis, daughter of W.H. Scott of Tynemouth. Portrait of a woman, three-quarter length. She is wearing a black dress and a large black hat with a feather, probably mourning dress. Gilt wood frame. She married Hubert de Gotham Parker-Jervis, youngest son of the Hon. Edward Swynfen Parker-Jervis of Little Aston on 20 August 1885. After her husband's death in 1894 she lived mostly in London and died there 30 January 1938. The portrait was painted by John Charlton (1849-1917) in 1915 and was shown in the Royal Society of Portrait Painters Exhibition of the year.
