Description:Friendly Society banner for Alfred Bolton Juvenile Friendly Society, probably associated with Churnet Valley Grand United Order of Odd Fellows, Oakamoor, Staffordshire. Rectangular silk banner, blue ground with yellow border. Yellow and blue fringe at bottom. Portrait of Alfred Bolton on one side with inscription: 'Alfred Bolton Juvenile Friendly Society' and 'G.U.O of O.F.'. Banner fixed to pole with yellow wool braid. Maker: G. Tutill, City Road, London. Found in Methodist Chapel, Oakamoor by donor. Dimensions: width 3370mm, height 2800mm.
