Description:Mill Street Wesleyan Ragged School banner, from Leek. Blue embroidered silk with blue, white and yellow silk tassels and fringe.

The side shown features a painted inscription (apparently a later addition) "MSMSS" (which stands for Mill Street Methodist Sunday School), and "Mill Street Wesleyan Ragged School". Dimensions: 2230mm x 2500mm.

The banner was made by Henry Waite of Bridge Street, Manchester in about 1875.
