Description:From left to right: Ernest Adams, Jim Bailey and Herbert Wood, holding a scythe. Mr Wood grew oats on the Allotment Gardens, a plot of land of about a third of an acre which was formerly 4 allotments. The old Alstonefield Institute can be seen in the background.
