Description:The Royal Castle Flint Glass Works stood on Scropton Lane, Hatton, near Tutbury.

The Castle Works was founded by George Harry Corbett and opened in Hatton by J.T.H. Richardson by 1871. It was rebuilt as the Trent Valley Glassworks in 1947, using the trade name Glastics. It closed in 1984.
