Description:Fire station buildings on Lammascote Road. The fire station was moved from Mill Bank in about 1971 and remained here until 1998. The site is now occupied by Asda supermarket.

The fire engine in the picture is a Leyland Club Fire Pump Siderider. The Officer in Charge and the driver sat at the front - the remainder of the crew stood on the step on each side holding onto the brass rail beside them.
