Description:View of the end of Carter Street looking onto High Street in 1960s. Alvaston's Furniture shop on the corner of Carter Street had recently been opened. It later became Currys, and was a café c1990. On High Street are Orme & Sons, William Deacon's Bank and Willisfords.
