Description:Needlework exercises worked on flannel cloth. This exercise shows examlpes of:
- Bound edge
- Attached tape
- Triangular and square patch
- Horizontal tuck
- Seaming
- Banding with hand worked buttonhole and button
- Darning
- Feather stitch and scalloped blanket stitch
- Hemming

From the Staffordshire County Collection. Worked by Septima Shillito, born in about 1874 and educated in Lincoln.
