Description:Lotus Ltd.'s Christmas Dinner held at the Assembly Rooms, Tipping Street, Stafford.

Standing at the back are, from left to right: Mr & Mrs Walter Buckley, Mrs & Mr Arthur Cooper, Margaret Moult, Carl Lainchbury, Mr & Mrs Courts, George Shaw, Mr & Mrs Sid Lowndes.

Among the people seated at the tables are: Iris and Maurice Hood, Muriel Moult, Renee Birch, Lol Birch, Norman Caddy, Mr & Mrs Wakefield, Ron Wood.

Lotus was formerly Edwin Bostock's shoe factory, which was on Foregate Street, Stafford. The factory was destroyed by fire in 1901, but was rebuilt on Sandon Road in 1903.

Bostock's became Lotus Ltd. in 1919. The Sandon Road factory was demolished in 1998.
