Description:Three soldiers, all of whom lived on Newcastle Road, Stone, and served in the Great War.

At the back is Private George Sansom of the North Staffordshire Regiment, who lived at 99 Newcastle Road. Seated are Privates George Jenkins of the Machine Gun Corps, and Bert Jenkins of the Army Service Corps (Derby scheme),bothe of whom lived at 91 Newcastle Road.
