Description:Three employees of the Examining Department, Lotus Ltd, Stone with knitted dolls' clothes made for girls in children's homes at Hoar Cross, Matlock and Ashbourne, and in the care of foster parents around Staffordshire.

Pictured are Jose Harvey, Nellie Smith and Elizabeth Ellis, who set up a weekly fund to buy materials and then gave up their 10 minute tea breaks to knit the outfits.
