Description:Firemen putting out a fire in the thatch of a cottage on Lichfield Road.

These seventeenth century cottages stood opposite Green Hall. Today the site is occupied by a garage. This cottage, number 116, was owned by Frances Brown who was 91 at the time of the fire.
