Description:Glazed Stoneware.

Stoneware jar with a wide belly and an open mouth, thrown and turned by William Staite Murray at Rotherhithe, London, England.

Cream glaze with specks of iron oxide throughout the body, hand painted iron oxide decoration of six fish with swirls in between to represent the waters, base is unglazed.
